Equitation Jumping
So what is equitation jumping?
It involves a course of showjumps, over which the rider, and to a lesser extent the horse, are judged on their style and effectiveness over each fence, and also when cantering on the flat both before and after the jumping round. Penalties are given for knockdowns, refusals etc. The course is a maximum of 3' high (29" for juniors ) and the best 3 rounds from a team of 4 count.
Just think how good for your riding this competition could be!!!
